Preservation and Storage

Store in a cool, dry place. Keep away from children.

Characteristics:

  • Nutrilon Lactose is effective in cases of lactose intolerance as it is free of the lactose carbohydrate, allowing for successfull adaptation to the decreased activity of lactase; it also has low osmolarity that provides excellent tolerance.
  • Nutrilon Lactose contains 3.2 mg per every 100 mL of nucleotides, which are essential building blocks for cell division and development of the immune system. Nucleotides are compounds (intracellular) involved in many biochemical and biological processes of the organism. They are of vital importance in cellular function and metabolism.
  • Breast milk contains about 13 different nucleotides. The most important are: (MFC) cytidine monophosphate, (MFA) adenosine monophosphate, (MFU) uridine monophosphate, (MFI) inosine monophosphate and (MFG) guanine monophosphate.
  • The protein content of Nutrilon Lactose is 1.3 g/100 mL, which is sufficient in suppling all the amino acids that the infant with lactose intolerance requires. Additionally, it is enriched with an intake of taurine (5.3 mg/100 mL).
  • It has a fat content of 3.7 g/100 mL. This is enough to provide a good ratio of essential fatty acids: linoleic acid (n-6) and a-linolenic acid (n-3) in 5:1 ratio, to ensure optimal training of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA). Also, this formula contains polyunsaturated fatty acids (arachidonic acid and docosahexaenoic acid), to strengthen the neural and visual tissue formation.
  • The content of vitamins, minerals and trace elements are within the regulations and recommendations.
